Stacey Solomon's adorable son Rex, 1, gatecrashes Loose Women live on air

Stacey Solomon's son Rex gatecrashed Loose Women today, delighting fans in the process.

The panelists were speaking about problems with sweating when host Jane Moore noticed that there was a "new Loose Woman" on screen.

"Sorry," Stacey apologised with a grin as she cuddled Rex, who was curled on her lap. "Talking of sweat, he's sweating!"

"Gorgeous," Jane cooed.

"I tried to time his nap," Stacey insisted as he son wriggled around on her lap.

Stacey went on to speak about her own body issues and said that she was often too self-conscious to go to the GP.

She said: "With what Brenda said about sweating, there are some things that go on with your body that you do feel self-conscious about discussing with your GP.

"I've told you girls this before that when I had Zachary, for some reason every time I was due on I would get really sweaty and even get BO sometimes. I could wash 10 times a day and it would still be there.

"I was so embarrassed about it I wouldn't speak to anyone about it for years and I just wouldn't see anyone or wouldn't go out.

"It is debilitating so I do get that embarrassment... It's making my arm pit itch!"

Asked whether she did see her GP in the end, Stacey replied that she had: "She was really lovely and said it's hormonal and there's not much that you can really do.

"You can get certain things to stop you sweating like Botox but it won't stop the smell."

*Loose Women airs weekdays at 12.30pm on ITV
