Stacey Solomon has opened up about her plans to marry boyfriend Joe Swash, weeks after announcing they are expecting their first child together.
Solomon, who found fame on The X Factor, is currently pregnant with her third child, which will be her first with the TV presenter.
Over the years, the pair have sparked engagement rumours, and most recently fuelled the flames on Valentine’s Day with a cosy breakfast in bed and a hidden hand.
However, Solomon has revealed that getting hitched isn’t necessarily top of their to-do list because “neither of them are religious”.
The 29-year-old told Heart Breakfast that she would marry Swash, although admitted that it would be a day about “declaring love” rather than anything else.
“Yeah. I mean, we’re not that big on marriage, only because neither of us are really religious,” Solomon said.
“But we’d love to have a day where we declare our love to each other, because that’s important to us.”
Earlier this month, the loved-up couple announced they are expecting their first child together.
Swash, 37, joked that he was “delighted” to find out Solomon was pregnant after she kept falling asleep around the house.
Posting a series of photos of his sleeping girlfriend, he wrote: “I can’t begin to describe how happy we are to be able to share this wonderful news. We’ve been so blessed with 3 incredible children that we’ve had the privilege of raising and we are forever grateful to have the chance to become parents to another wonderful child.”
He added that it was all “overwhelming and emotional” and that they “couldn’t be happier”.
Last week, Solomon gave fans a glimpse of her pregnancy bump while enjoying the summery weather.
The pregnant star gave a twirl for the cameras in a coral dress, debuting her blossoming belly.
