Stacey Solomon cleared up rumours that she has secretly married boyfriend Joe Swash, telling her fellow Loose Women panellists that “there’s no ring.”
The TV presenter, 30, sparked wedding speculation earlier this week when she shared a photo of her children and Swash on the beach in the Maldives, with her three sons dressed up in smart matching outfits.
Loose Women host Ruth Langsford addressed the conjecture during Wednesday’s episode of the all-female panel show, joking that the photo “has got everybody into a frenzy.”
“First of all can I just clear up - there’s no ring,” Solomon laughed, before joking that she would not get married without co-star and “bridesmaid” Janet Street Porter.
“I have to say you wouldn’t get married in that outfit,” her co-star Jane Moore added, prompting Solomon to agreed.
“Also, I wouldn’t want to keep it a secret,” she said. “I would be so excited. I’d be straight on the phone to you lot. You’d all be there, obviously.”
She explained: “We just dressed up because we wanted to - and you know how much I love a matching outfit. I choose everyone’s clothes.
“I would never do it without my best friends.”
Speaking during a live link during the show, Swash confirmed that he was only in the Maldives with Solomon “for two days.”
The couple have been in a relationship since 2015 and share a son, Rex, who was born in May.
Solomon is also mother to two sons, Zachary, 11, and Leighton, seven.
