Stacey Solomon recalls 'scary' I'm A Celebrity as she offers new line-up advice

Stacey Solomon recalled finding I'm A Celebrity "scary", with the former champion excited for the new series to launch.

The Loose Women star won the ITV show back in 2010, beating Shaun Ryder to the crown.

Her Loose Women co-star Janet Street-Porter also competed in the jungle series hosted by Ant and Dec in 2004.

On Monday, the new 2019 line-up was finally confirmed with names including Caitlyn Jenner, Ian Wright, Nadine Coyle and Jacqueline Jossa on the bill.

Both Janet and Stacey agreed it was a good list of names, while they had differing opinions on how "scary" jungle life was.

But they did also both agree on their advice for the latest stars entering the jungle.

Stacey told them: "I'd say just enjoy it, it's such a laugh and an experience like no other."

Janet nodded in agreement 15 years on from her own stint in the jungle.

But she couldn't help mock some of her former campmates, recalling her time on the show.

With Natalie Appleton famously spooked by everything in the jungle, and Sophie Anderton freaked out by camels in one task, Janet didn't hold back on her impressions.

Stacey was quick to defend them though, reminding her co-star what it was like living in the Australian jungle for three weeks.

She said: "Oh come on Janet, it is scary.

"You're not in a studio, I know people say, 'what is it really like in there?' and it's exactly what you see.

"You'll be walking through the jungle and feel a tap and it's a great big Huntsman spider falling out of a tree."

I'm A Celebrity launches Sunday 17th November at 9pm on ITV.
