Stacey Solomon practices birthing techniques with Joe Swash after panic over Rex's birth

Stacey Solomon and Joe Swash have been practicing birthing techniques ahead of their daughter's arrival.

The Loose Women presenter and her partner are expecting a baby girl and as Stacey relaxed on Saturday evening in her baby's nursery, her peace was disturbed by Joe, who joined her for some pre-birth practice.

Stacey updated her millions of Instagram followers about Joe's reaction to Rex's birth last time.

"Just sitting in here trying to wind down for the evening and Joe's decided he's going to practice how he'll be when I give birth. If it's anything like the last time, I don't want it," she said, addressing the camera.

To which Joe replied: "I've learned from my mistakes."

Stacey then went to recall how Joe reacted when she gave birth to their son Rex.

But she was even more unimpressed when he pretended to use gas on her with his hand (staceysolomon/Instagram)

She said: "Last time I went into labour, Joe panicked so much that I thought something was wrong.

"All I could hear was, 'Is that the right amount of blood? Are you sure that's the right amount of blood? Are you sure there's meant to be that much blood there?'"

Joe feels he is ready this time as he "knows what to expect".

He said: "I know what to expect this time. So you're fine. A little massaging, blowing."

He then proceeded to massage her shoulders and Stacey quipped she wouldn't be happy if he did that during labour.

She said: "I swear to God, if you do any of that when I'm in labour, you won't see the end of it. You won't make it through."

Stacey is so excited for the arrival of her little girl and she recently had a pregnancy photoshoot. to celebrate the last couple of weeks.

"Taking in every last second. Thank you dad for helping me make special memories tonight," she wrote.

"I wish I'd done this every time but I'm so glad we did it this time. For the last time.

"So grateful for the chance to grow you little one, now we can't wait to meet you."

She recently finished decorating the nursery for the baby's arrival and admitted she put her heart and soul into it.

"I can not wait to bring you home here and show you everything," she penned.

"I can not wait to hold you, cuddle you, sing to you, feed you and put you to bed in here.

"I’m so proud of everything in here and it’s been the best feeling making it and I’ll miss being covered in pink paint."
