Stacey Solomon plotting total makeover of £1.2m home with gaming room and new kitchen

Stacey Solomon gave fans a glimpse of how she's set to refurbish her new £1.2 million house.

The Loose Women panelist, 31, took to her Instagram Story to take fans on a little tour of her wonderful home, which comes complete with a gaming room and a new kitchen.

She and her beau Joe Swash ’s 17th century home is yet to go through the many refurbishments, but Stacey has explained everything she wants to do with the space.

The kitchen has a white modern dining table but Stacey will ‘completely change’ the room, which currently has wood-panelled cupboards as well as a lovely sink that overlooks their large garden.

She took fans to the front room and zoomed in on the tiny stained glass window and around the corner is where her boys - Leighton, eight, and Zachary, 13 - have set up their gaming consoles.

“I honestly can’t wait to find out what we can do and fix up loads of the wood and beams and move things around and make it a really cost front room,” she captioned one video.

The cosy fireplace in the room has even become a favourite napping spot for her dog Peanut.

“Peanut loves a warm cosy spot and when he’s not running outside he is always next to the fire or the Aga,” she said.

“I will show you everything I promise I’m just trying to unpack and sort through in between. So sorry if I’m a bit slow.”

She showed fans around the kitchen and eating area, which includes an Aga cooker, saying: "I love this room so much.

"The windows, the oven. I want to completely change the kitchen itself but the space is [crying emoji]."

Her home is dotted with stained glass windows - including one on the staircase - as well as orange skylights.

She showed fans Rex's room, which has its own fireplace and an ensuite bathroom for the one-year-old.

“I’m obsessed with all of the doors and windows,” she wrote about his room. “I’m going to fix up these wardrobes because they’re beautiful and so handy.”
