Stacey Solomon has shared an insight of her mum-life on her Instagram story as she was painting her son Rex's Wendy House - and the results could not have been more stunning.
The former X-factor contestant and mother-of-three showed that being a mum sometimes required working on other people’s houses... or rather playhouses.
Loose Women panelist Stacey, 31, shared with her 4.4 million Instagram followers how she had refurbished her children’s miniature cottage.
Originally black and white with naked wood colours, Stacey ended up painting it in grey and white, while filming the entire process.
She then wrote that she could not wait to “decorate the inside” and that she “might even paint the paving slabs”, while two-year-old Rex was seen playing around and shouting for his cousin Mila, who had her birthday today.
Stacey’s youngest son has been spoiled lately with beautiful designs both at his Wendy house, and also in his bedroom.
The former X Factor contestant shared a series of photos last week showing Rex’s newly decorated bedroom with an adorable Panda theme.
“Rex and me worked so hard in here to try and make him a special space and we are so so proud of it,” Stacey wrote.
She added: “It’s the first bedroom we could complete because it didn’t need any building, electrics or wardrobes fitted so we just painted and jazzed up what was in there already.”
The ITV presenter officially moved into her new home along with her fiancé, Joe Swash, 39, last March.
The popular couple’s £1.2 million property has been an undergoing renovation project as the Loose Women has continuously shared her dream home’s progress on her social media.
