Stacey Solomon opens up about wedding venue regret after moving into 'forever home'

Stacey Solomon has revealed she has regrets about the wedding venue she’s booked.

Former Eastenders star Joe Swash popped the question on Christmas Eve 2020, and, since deciding to tie the knot in July 2021, the couple have been busy ticking off their wedding to-do’s, including booking the wedding venue.

However, it seems Stacey may have cold feet - about the venue, not the marriage.

Stacey recently moved into a new house, named Pickle Cottage, with Joe and her sons Zachary, 13, Leighton, eight, and one-year-old Rex.

But after sharing a glimpse of the garden in her £1.2 million ‘forever’ home with her 4.3 million followers on Instagram, she revealed she wished she could have gotten married there.

Alongside a video of a beautiful wooden arch in the grounds of her house, she said: "I'll never not get massive butterflies when I walk down here.

"Little pathway I'll never take you for granted I promise.

"Lots of you are saying we should get married here. I bloody wish, we already booked our venue before we knew about pickle cottage and I'm sure we'd need a special licence or something."

Previously explaining the decision to move house, Stacey said: "Soooo... For a very long time, Joe and I have been searching for our forever home, further from the city and closer to our family..."

"A few months ago we saw a house that we couldn't even believe was on the market and in the same budget as our house now. There were SO many signs. I really believe in signs and they were everywhere and it just didn't seem real."
