Stacey Solomon unveils adorable handmade gift to unborn baby with sweet message

Stacey Solomon has revealed to fans the adorable handmade gift she is planning to give her unborn daughter when she arrives.

The Loose Women star, 31, told her instagram followers how she's been plotting the present ever since she and fiancé Joe Swash found out they were expecting a girl.

Earlier this year, the pair shared how thrilled they were to be expecting their first daughter after enduring several miscarriages.

Following the June announcement, Stacey has been busily preparing for the arrival of her fourth child - and partner Joe's second - and revealed she's already planned her maternity leave and kitted out the nursery.

Today the pregnant star told how she'd been spending the day crafting to complete the homemade present she couldn't wait to give her new arrival.

"It's pouring with rain, the boys are in their rooms playing, Rex is sleeping, and my brain is going a million miles an hour so I got my glue gun out and had some me time..." she began on her Instagram Story.

"For some reason if I feel a bit strange crafting always takes my mind away for a minute... I brought these bits the other day when I went to Ikea and I've wanted to make one for our little princess since we found out she was coming..." said Stacey.

The mum then showed off a bell jar and artificial rose, with Beauty and the Beast's Tale As Old As Time playing in the background.

As she set to work fitting the jar with lights and rose petals, Stacey explained: "It's just a little something but it made me smile and made me concentrate on how to hide the ugly wires instead of worrying about my intrusive thoughts."

The mum then showed the finished look to her followers as she showed how she'd encased the rose in the jar and decorated it with twinkling fairy lights.

Penning a sweet message to her baby girl alongside it, Stacey wrote: "Just a little something from me to you.

"May it always remind you of mummy and how excited we all are to met you.

"When you're bigger I'll tell you about the butterflies in my tummy I have every time I think of you....

"Love you already to the moon and back. Mummy," she finished.

Stacey's crafty afternoon came after the mum admitted she was 'feeling a little funny' as she planned her upcoming maternity leave.

The Loose Women panelist said she'd had a 'long morning' of catching up with work after numerous meetings with her bosses.

Stacey said plotting out the next few months left her feeling 'excited' but also 'made my tummy feel a little funny.'

"I can't believe she will be here in just a couple of months and it made. me start to panic a bit... even just writing it on here," she told her followers.

Stacey and her partner Joe announced they were expecting another 'little Pickle' together last month weeks before confirming the baby would be their first daughter.
