Stacey Solomon hits back after being accused of having a favourite child

Stacey Solomon has hilariously replied to trolls criticising her over her DIY.

The Loose Women star was amused to be accused by trolls, who she nicknamed 'Wilmas', of having a 'favourite' son for concentrating on getting her youngest child Rex's room finished first in their new home.

She jokingly replied on Instagram that her eldest Zach was actually her favourite.

"The only reason I've finished this room first is because I used what was there," she penned.

"I started the bigger Pickles first but we are waiting on wardrobes, electrics and desks so calm down Wilma I don't love Rex the most.

"If anything Zeach's my favourite (joke)."

"I had to read out to my husband about Zach being your favourite. Had me in stitches," said one fan.

And Stacey told her supportive followers: "Your messages are cracking me up.

"Wilma was not impressed that I didn't manage to do all of the boys' rooms at once unfortunately my bum paintbrushing skills aren't quite up to scratch.

"So I just have to do them one at a time, until I come back in the next life hopefully as a DIY specialising octopus."

Proudly sharing a photo of Rex's adorable panda-theme room she explained that it was done first because it didn't need any building, electrics or wardrobes fitted.

"FINALLY... I’m so proud of this little room," she said.

"I hope you make so many memories and happy thoughts in here pickle. "You and all of your favourite pandas.

"Rex and me have worked so hard in here to try and make him a special space and we are so so proud of it!

"It’s the first bedroom we could complete because it didn’t need any building, electrics or wardrobes fitted so we just painted and jazzed up what was in there already... I love it so so much and I can not wait to watch you grow up in here little one, just not too quickly please."

Stacey, 31, has been refurbishing her dream home with fiance Joe Swash and sons Zachary, 13, eight-year-old Leighton and one-year-old Rex after moving in in March.

in Rex's room she revamped a brown fireplace with floral tiles to create a sleeker, more modern and neutral look in navy and grey.

Stacey, who shot to fame on the X Factor in 2009, was delighted that their dream countryside is named Pickle Cottage, which by coincidence is her nickname for her boys.

"We can’t wait to fill it with love and give it our everything. To raise our family here. And to just start a fresh. I’m very emotional for some reason. It still hasn’t sunk in and doesn’t quite feel real," she wrote.

"Thank you for all of your supportive, kind, loving messages. We love you to the moon and back and I can’t wait to show you around...

"Here’s to the next chapter in Pickle Cottage."
