Stacey Solomon's emotions are running high today as her son Leighton celebrates his ninth birthday.
The doting mum-of-three has been updating her Instagram Story in dedication to her middle-born child, treating him to a special birthday snack as she thanked him for being 'an amazing son'.
The 30-year-old Loose Women star revealed her son is at school today, but explained to her 4.4million followers that she has a birthday surprise for him when he returns back home.
Before doing the school run, she penned: "Leighton has had us all up at the crack of dawn for his birthday. He wanted to make piggy rolls and open his presents [laughing emoji]."
"I noticed that this tree in the garden has blossomed today and it really warmed my heart. I have no idea what it is but it's beautiful. And I feel like it's come out for you Leighton. Happy birthday darling boy I cannot believe you're 9 today."
In a different post, Stacey revealed she was getting emotional as she watched a video of Leighton and his brother Zachary and Rex cuddling their brother.
"Have a special happy day my little one. Thank you for being such an amazing son. I love you to the moon and back. Always and forever," she continued.
"I promise I'll make the birthday table and the cake will be a proper one not a piggy roll and tealights when you're home from school.
"Mummy loves you for not minding that she didn't get around to it yet."
The loving mother added: "I need to stop watching that video back of Zach cuddling Leighton. I am clearly overtired but it's making me an emotional wreck."
The TV star then went on to say people used to frown upon her for having her first-born Zachary when she was 'a baby' herself.
However she said she wouldn't change it for the world as they are 'good people' and called her three children her 'biggest achievement ever'.
