Stacey Solomon forced to dress as a giant pickle for her hen do while pals wear Joe Swash masks

Bride-to-be Stacey Solomon has provided hilarious video footage as her hen do gets off to a start. The 32-year-old mum-of-four was forced to dress up as a giant pickle by hens because the Loose Women panellist is always talking about her kids, who she affectionately calls her 'pickles.'

Stacey, who is marrying TV presenter and former EastEnders actor Joe Swash, had her white outfit covered with the huge green costume as she walked through departures to catch their flight. She Instagrammed comical video footage of her hens waving and cheering in matching beige and green outfits and wearing masks of Joe's face.

The camera then pans to Stacey in her costume. Another clip shows her going through security still dressed as a pickle. Explaining the choice of costume, Stacey wrote: 'So here are my sisters and my best friends and thanks to them this is how I had to travel to our hen destination.

"Apparently I talk about my pickles so much (even wanted to bring them on my hen) so my hen costume was a giant pickle. It was boiling. And not inconspicuous in any way."

Sharing a clip of her hens wearing jumpers with 'bridesmaid' or 'maid of honour' on the front Stacey wrote: 'They were off on their hen dos in diamante tiaras and white dresses. And I was being patted down in security in a big green pickle outfit.'

Stacey also shared a snap of herself asleep on the plane. She did not disclose the location of her hen do but shared a snap out of the window as they headed to their sun-soaked destination.

She wrote excitedly: "And we are here. It's so beautiful. 'Haven't seen these little round windows in years. I can't tell you how excited I was to get on a plane."

Posting from their destination Stacey posted a smiling picture of herself after ditching the pickle. "We have arrived where we are staying and it's so special," she gushed to her Instagram followers.

Stacey recently gave her fans a glimpse at her wedding door for her upcoming nuptials at the couple's home, which is appropriately named Pickle Cottage. She decorated the door with a huge floral arch, a matching wreath and the words 'Mr & Mrs'.

Stacey posed proudly in front of her stunning display cradling her dog Peanut and her baby daughter Rose - and she revealed that she and Joe will be tying the knot at the end of the month. She wrote: 'Wedding Door done This will forever be my favourite door of all time… I can not believe it’s already July. And we are getting married at the end of the month. Happy July Everyone. Love you all. I can’t believe it’s actually happening."

Explaining the display she wrote: "'Something old - the horseshoes we found in pickle cottage when we moved in. Something new - the Mr & Mrs sign.

"Something borrowed - @emlouflowers Leant me some of her beautiful white roses and eucalyptus. Something blue - the sky as we finished it. Thank you Em I love you. Felt like Thelma & Louise these last two days."
