Stacey Solomon fans were in hysterics after she turned up at the airport for her hen-do in a pickle costume.
The costume is a sweet reference to her family home Pickle Cottage, where she is due to marry fiancé Joe Swash at the of the month, and her nicknames for her children. Stacey, 32, is all set to tie the knot with the ex EastEnders actor at their Essex home later this month in front of their nearest and dearest.
Joe, 40, enjoyed his stag do last weekend as he partied in Ibiza alongside Stacey's dad, and long time pals actor Dean Gaffney, comedian Rob Becket and ex-TOWIE star Ricky Rayment. Their wedding has already been delayed after they decided to change venues and Stacey became pregnant with daughter Rose.
Now it's Stacey's turn to enjoy her hen party in fancy dress as she's been whisked away by her close friends and family ahead of the ceremony. Documenting the trip on Instagram, the star revealed her first surprise after arriving at the airport.
Stacey wrote: "So here are my sisters and my best friends and thanks to them this is how I had to travel to our hen destination. Apparently I talk about my pickles so much (even wanted to bring them on my hen), so my hen costume was a giant pickle. It was boiling and not inconspicuous in any way."
The Loose Women panellist accompanied the post with a clip of herself prancing around the airport in the hilarious green costume. The presenter often refers to her children - Zachary, Leighton, Rex and daughter Rose - as her pickles.
This wasn't the only surprise her bridal party had in store for her, as they turned up with masks made of Joe Swash. In the next clip, Stacey was seen going through security and eating a croissant in the pickle outfit, complete with a bridal veil.
The former X Factor star continued: "I can't tell you how many beautiful brides we passed on our way off on their hen do's in diamante tiaras and white dresses. And I was being patted down in security in a big green pickle outfit. Love ya girls."
The trip, organised by her sister Jemma, will be Stacey's first time abroad since the pandemic. Earlier today, Stacey took to social media to flash a photo of her passport at 4.36am in the morning.
Following the snooze, Stacey shared: "And we are here. It's so beautiful. Haven't seen these little round windows in years. I can't tell you how excited I was to get on a plane."
