Stacey Solomon 'emotional' as she shows kids adorable moment she met Joe Swash for the first time

Stacey Solomon has revealed the exact moment her and fiancé Joe Swash met more than 10 years ago.

Mum-of-five Stacey shared a post to her Instagram story where she showed her kids the couple meeting for the first time.

The Loose Women star's first encounter with her soon-to-be husband was on I'm A Celebrity back in 2010.

The 33-year-old was crowned 'queen of the jungle' 11 years ago and Joe Swash was in fact there to watch her victory.

Joe, who also won I'm A Celeb years two years earlier in 2008, went on to present the show’s spin-off programme Extra Camp.

In the adorable moment, which Stacey shared with her children, Joe could be seen hugging and congratulating Stacey for her win.

Fast forward 11 years and the couple are now happily engaged with two children together, baby Rose and son Rex.

Along with Stacey's two sons Zachary and Leighton, the family live together in their adorably named home - Pickle Cottage.

Sharing the moment with her 4.9 million fans on Instagram, Stacey revealed that watching the clip back made her 'emotional'.

"We just finished watching the castle and Leighton and Zach made me put on my jungle videos because Zachy doesn't remember it and Leighton wasn't born when I did it so they love watching it," she said.

"Then we stumbled across this one. The first time I ever met Joe. The boys couldn't believe it was him. It feels like yesterday."

Stacey also revealed she teared up seeing her friend and former Love Island host Caroline Flack, who died tragically in 2020.

"Then seeing beautiful Caroline. Didn't realise how emotional this would make me," Stacey shared with a broken heart emoji.

Stacey then posted a throwback picture of her on the jungle thrown, with her 13-year-old son Zach who was just two at the time.

"No one knows that the future holds... Hold them tight. Always. Never forget," she wrote.
