Stacey Solomon 'emotional' as she returns to work saying she will miss being around her kids every day

Stacey Solomon has answered some more burning questions from her fans on social media, as she spoke of how "incredibly lucky" she is to be a mum-of-five and gushed over being able to spend quality time with her family at Pickle Cottage during her maternity leave.

The 33-year-old influencer lives in the Essex family home, dubbed 'Pickle Cottage', with her husband Joe Swash and their kids baby Belle, one-year-old Rose, and Rex, three. Stacey's sons Zachary, 15, and Leighton, 11, also stay there from her previous relationship.

Stacey often shares updates with her loyal fleet of 5.6 million followers on Instagram on her work and personal life and was delighted to take part in another mini 'Q&A' for her fans. When asked how she is finding life with five kids, Stacey said it was "the most asked question".

"It's been so incredible, just so amazing. I can't believe I'm lucky enough to say I'm a mum of five," Stacey said.

"I love being a mum so much like I genuinely love it and whilst I've been on maternity leave it's just been so nice to be around them the whole time and giving them my full attention."

Following the birth of the couple's daughter Belle, Stacey will be returning to her hectic work schedule after her maternity leave as she spoke of how it impacts her daily life.

She said: "I return to working away again from tomorrow so I know that's going to be really hard and I feel a bit emotional about it, but I also love my job and I'm really grateful I get to work so it's a weird mix of feelings.

"I'll be really honest. Three, one and zero is 'full on' there's not many ways I can describe it," Stacey added hinting at her younger brood - Belle, Rose and Rex.

She explained: "They obviously constantly need you, all of them, all of the time. It's so different to when I had the older boys and there were bigger age gaps so it's really hard, but at the same time I love that they are growing up together."

Stacey also revealed she will be working on some upcoming DIY projects again in their home soon, including a 'before and after' reveal of their outdoor pool.

It comes as the star and Joe, 41, have been caught up in planning rows with council officials over plans to extend their lavish £1.2million mansion has been rejected.

The Loose Women panellist and former Coronation Street star reportedly applied for planning permission to build a single-storey extension at their family home, but they were denied.

The council rejected their plans as Pickle Cottage dates back to the 16th century and they don't want the building modified.

Documents allegedly show Stacey and Joe initially applied for planning permission in February 2022, but their plea was rejected. The couple's second application was reportedly denied five weeks ago, according to reports in The Sun.

The couple moved into their mansion in 2021 and the former X-Factor star has spent the last two years tirelessly transforming the property. She frequently shares updates on the renovation on her Instagram account, as well as her many DIY tips for fans.
