Stacey Solomon dreads going back to work as maternity leave ends with baby Rose

Loose Women star Stacey Solomon admits she hates the thought of coming back to work once her maternity leave comes to an end.

The TV star welcomed her first daughter, Rose, in October 2021 has since confessed she doesn't want to return to work after having such a magical time at home bonding with her new baby.

Stacey, 32, shares baby Rose with fiancé Joe Swash, 39, shared these thoughts on social media earlier this week as she celebrated her daughter turning three months old.

In an adorable video of baby Rose, Stacey told fans on Instagram she hates the idea of leaving her little girl when she goes back to work on TV.

"I love my job so, so much. But oh my gosh, I'm so sad that my maternity leave is almost over," Stacey penned alongside a cute snap of little Rose smiling in her cot.

And in another post, Stacey admits that she's 'so emotional' over how fast her fourth child is growing up.

"Today she is three months old. Where did the time go? Actually so emotional at how quickly Rose is growing."

Proud mum of four, Stacey has one-year-old son Rex, who she also shares with Joe Swash, and her sons Zachary and Leighton from previous relationships.

She recently celebrated her one-year engagement to former EastEnder star, Joe, as she shared a throwback photo of herself showing off her huge sparkler after her 39-year-old actor boyfriend popped the question in 2020.

“I can’t believe it’s been One Whole Year. I can not wait to walk down the aisle to you @realjoeswashy with our boys and our little princess. 2022 I can’t wait for you," the smitten star penned.

During a recent appearance on Loose Women, Stacey and Joe discussed their wedding plans, including when they'll finally be tying the knot.

The pair had to cancel their wedding plans due to Covid restrictions and then they decided to postpone it until baby Rose could be there too.

Stacey said: “Get your hat out, Ruth. Yes, we would love, if all goes well because Covid’s still massive and you never know what’s around the corner, but we would love to get married in July next year, we really would.

“It will be so nice to have the boys and Rose there."
