Stacey Solomon has revealed her delight after receiving a surprise parcel from David and Victoria Beckham – months after sending the former footballer a self-confessed “cringe” voice note asking for advice on beekeeping.
The Loose Women star, 35, took to Instagram to show off the unexpected delivery, which included two jars of homemade honey from the Beckhams’ Cotswolds estate – cheekily named DB’s Sticky Stuff and Sticky Vicky.
Overjoyed by the gesture, Solomon told fans: “This is the best thing ever! Thanks David, we love you. There’s two jars of honey – DB’s Sticky Stuff and Sticky Vicky. I bet they’re hilarious in real life, we need to go on a night out with David and Victoria.”
The gift comes after the TV personality reached out to Beckham earlier this year while filming her new BBC series Stacey & Joe, a fly-on-the-wall documentary following her and husband Joe Swash’s family life at Pickle Cottage in Essex.
Inspired by the ex-England captain’s hobby, Solomon decided to try her hand at keeping bees, but admitted she needed some expert advice. Encouraged by her sister Gemma, she nervously sent Beckham a voice note via Instagram.

In it, she said: “I’m getting a beehive and I know you and Victoria have got bees and they’re a big part of your life, so I just wondered if you had any top tips or advice. I’m already regretting sending you this message because I know you’ll never see it, and if you do you’ll probably think I’m a weirdo.”
After hitting send, the mother-of-five immediately cringed, telling her sister: “I’m going to be blacklisted from all cool things now because I’ve just sent David Beckham the most loser-ish message.”
Her husband Joe was less than impressed by her enthusiasm for the football legend, joking: “Damn right he didn’t reply. Hands off, mate. I don’t need David Beckham as competition! I’ve got dogs and ducks – the last thing I need is David Beckham.”
Beckham, 50, has become something of a beekeeping enthusiast in recent years, often sharing videos of himself tending to his hives at his £12 million countryside retreat.
In June, he launched BEEUP, a honey-based children’s snack range, now stocked in Target stores across the US. Describing the project as a “real passion,” he said: “Since building my first hive in 2020 I’ve fallen in love with beekeeping. I wanted to create something for kids to enjoy as part of an active lifestyle.”
