December kicked off on the weekend, and many of us will have spent it putting up our Christmas decorations.
With Christmas lights going up around the UK and Santa's grottos already busy up and down the country, we can crack on with decorating without being sniffed at by the Christmas grinches of the world. This is the date you should put up your Christmas decorations, according to tradition.
One person who definitely got this memo is Stacey Solomon, who is not holding back when it comes to getting in the festive spirit this year. Posting on Instagram, the mum-of-three showed off her home to fans, revealing how she's decorated it for Christmas.
The first thing Stacey gave fans a sneak-peek at was her Christmas tree, the MEN reports.
Sharing a picture with her 2.5 million followers, she wrote: "The tree is up. I couldn’t wait any longer. Sorry to anyone who thinks it’s far too early but I just had to put the tree up today. It’s Rex’s first Christmas and I want it to last as long as possible!
"Rex thinks it’s wonderful, he’s had a sensory OVERLOAD today and keeps chuckling at it. I love this time of year sooooo much and I am so glad I get to stare at this for the next six weeks. Hope you’re all having a lovely Thursday."
The creme de la creme, though, has to be the outside of her home. Seriously, look at it.
People rushed to compliment the decor, with many of Stacey's celebrity pals also commenting.
