Stacey Solomon has branded Joe Swash's woodland proposal was the 'best day ever'.
The 31-year-old Loose Women star, who has been with Joe since 2016, reflected upon the surprise of being proposed to at Christmas.
The mum of three was overjoyed and completely taken by surprise when Joe got down on one knee in December 2020.
The couple have recently confirmed that they will tie the knot this summer in July 2021 and her sons will give her away.
Speaking about the whirlwind proposal and the excitement she felt around the day, Stacey opened up to The One Show's Alex Jones about what happened.
"It was the best day ever and I really wasn't expecting it as you can see because I was in my slippers and my ugly Christmas jumper," she said during Tuesday's show.
"It really took me by surprise.
The television star added: "I think the best part of it was that the boys were there and they cheered at one point, I only notice they cheered when I watched the video back. It was lovely."
During the show, Stacey also vowed never to lose her engagement ring.
The recollection of her proposal on today's show came shortly after the couple revealed that they had confirmed their wedding date.
Over the weekend, Stacey unveiled an exciting email in her stories to her followers saying it even brought her to tears.
The email was addressed to both her and Joe and confirmed that they would be getting married in July 2021, a quick turn around from their Christmas engagement.
Her post said: "Just got this email through and I'm having a little cry.
"Joe defo has watery eyes as well.. it actually feels real now.
Aside from exciting wedding news, Stacey even teased that she wanted to have more children with her fiancé in the next few years.
In a recent interview with Hello magazine, Stacey added that they were both open to the idea of expanding their brood even further.
"We talk about it all the time," the doting mother-of-three told Hello! magazine.
"He wants more children, I want children, we both would love a bit more space and a bit more fresh air.
