Stacey Solomon cries as she unveils stunning sketches of dream wedding dress

Stacey Solomon confessed she was overcome with emotion as she shared a sketch of her dream wedding dress.

The Loose Women star has been planning her big day ever since fiancé Joe Swash popped the question.

The former X Factor contestant admitted she'd fallen behind with her planning recently due to her family's move into their forever home, adorably named Pickle Cottage.

She's been hard at work decorating her new house, but indulged in some wedding chat today when a fan asked her if she'd decided on a dress yet.

Stacey, 31, who announced her engagement to 39-year-old Joe on Christmas Eve, shared a stunning sketch of a flowing fairytale gown with a dramatic split up the leg.

The elegant top was backless and featured a plunging V-neck, with pretty embroidery detail and a delicate chiffon train running from the shoulders and down to the floor.

She penned: "I am so behind with our wedding. I haven't been able to go in and try anything on... But here are some drawing ideas of how I imagine my dream dress...

"I honestly cry looking at these."

Mum-of-three Stacey couldn't believe it when Joe, dad to her youngest son Rex, recently revealed the exact date of their wedding on live TV.

As they appeared on a special episode of Loose Women together, Joe asked Stacey if he was allowed to say when they were getting married.

She told him: "You wouldn't know the date even if you were allowed to say!"

And he blurted out: "Yes the date is going to be the last Sunday in July."

A shocked Stacey exclaimed: "Oh my God, why did I bring you here?! Fantastic! Good God!"

Eamonn Holmes, who was on the show with his wife Ruth Langsford, pulled out his phone and declared he was free to attend as he tried to break the tension.

And Ruth added: "We're free, I'll get my hat!"
