Stacey Solomon confuses fans with 'Christmas tree' as she reveals plans to hunt other people's gardens

Stacey Solomon had fans all confused as they spotted what they thought was a Christmas tree in her brand new office. Over the last few weeks, the TV star has been showing her millions of followers her DIY skills as she created her own stylish space to get her work done at her family's home, adorably dubbed Pickle Cottage.

At the end of last month, Stacey took to Instagram to show off the results of her latest handiwork at her gorgeous Essex home. She had been busy completing a special display in her new office at the family's £1.2m Tudor-style cottage. But the mum-of-four ended up being supported by fans after showing off her latest creative work in her new home office as she admitted to 'losing her confidence'.

After sharing a video of her making a wall centerpiece with her millions of followers, she said on her Instagram Story: "Thank you for all your lovely messages tonight... I lost my confidence a bit on here lately so thank you for always being so lovely." Adding her own uplifting message, the Sort Your Life Out presenter added: "Never forget what makes you happy, no matter what people think, if you love it then that's all that matters. Never stop being YOU. You're amazing."

But Stacey has been happily sharing more content from her cool workspace. However, she appeared to horrifiy her loyal fanbase after she appeared to put up her Christmas tree. Some of her followers noticed it behind her as she spoke on her Instagram story about adding shelves and a fire into her new space.

In her next post, the Loose Women star shared a message from her DMs, which said: "Please tell me that's a Christmas tree." But Stacey confessed to her 5.4m followers: "Your messages are cracking me up! Yes that was a Christmas tree in the background of my last video but I promise I haven't started decorating yet...

"I put it up because I really want to forage Christmas this year." She went on to explain: "I want to try and make all my decorations out of things I already have and things I can find in the garden (or someone else's garden) because I love making stuff so so much and I've collected so much over the years."

She added: "It seems a waste to buy anything new but it is nice to change a little each year. Also, I know so many people find Christmas expensive anyway, so I thought I would try to find as many ways to decorate for next to nothing as possible this year and maybe we can share ideas and have fun with it."

What Stacey had been trying to do was use an old silver Christmas tree and use it as a base to create a fresh, neutral tree out of swingers grass, also known as pampas grass, which she also used on her office wall to create a beautiful wings-inspired visual above her wooden desk.

But Stacey had other ideas about what she was going to do with it (Stacey Solomon Instagram)

She then added a quote that read, 'let your dreams be your wings', in gold letters which had been created by her sister, Jemma. And in true Stacey fashion, the desk looked very organised, with little wooden pots for stationery and a place for her laptop and mug. "Let Your Dreams Be Your Wings…" she echoed in the caption of the post to her millions of followers.

And Christmas is set to be a big time for Stacey as she recently revealed she and her sister Jemma are working on a Christmas craft TV programme. Writing on her Instagram story last month, Stacey shared: "Jems is with me this afternoon and we are filming bits for a Christmas craft show on @bbciplayer.

“My actual dream, and you guys always send me the best inspiration and craft ideas, so if you have any good gones I’ll put a question box on here and we will make some of your crafts for the show.”
