Stacey Solomon's future on Loose Women has been confirmed amid fears she had quit the ITV show.
The presenter hasn't appeared many times on the ITV lunchtime show in the last few months following her wedding to Joe Swash and the arrival of her daughter Rose. Fans had started worrying she might not be back on the show ever, but her future has been confirmed after Loose Women marked their final show before Christmas today.
Nadia Sawalha, Linda Robson, Kaye Adams and Kelly Holmes were all on the panel to bid a final Merry Christmas to viewers ahead of the break for the next couple of days - with Stacey's future on the show finally revealed.
Singers Coleen Nolan, Brenda Edwards and Kelle Bryan sang a festive track with a number of other Loose Women stars including I'm A Celebrity's Charlene White and Denise Welch. However, it was Stacey's appearance that delighted fans most as her appearance no doubt confirmed she is still very much a part of the family on Loose Women.
Fans were concerned when they noticed she was absent from the show's Christmas party.
Sharing a video from the event, Charlene told fans: "There are SEVERAL videos I can’t post from today’s Loose Women Christmas lunch (I am the lady from the News obvs. And some things must be kept between friends and colleagues)… however, the @loosewomen team creating a dance routine for the Birds Of A Feather theme tune in honour of @lindarobson58 is one of the few videos I can post."
Stacey, who recently fronted her own Christmas craft show on BBC One, instead spent her day shopping and shared a video clip of her shopping trip as she wandered the aisles.
Speaking to her followers, she explained: "I'm just not sleeping very well at the minute, so I was laying there and I thought 'oh just get up Stace, so I've come to do a food shop. And now I'm just walking round eating everything.
"I'm only going to have packets left when I go to the checkout. I won't have any actual food. Maybe I'm not sleeping because I'm just hungry, probably should have had a bowl of cereal rather than going for a shop."
Stacey will be marking her first Christmas with husband Joe Swash this year, and she's grateful to be having a break. She shared: "We look forward to the same thing every single year – just stopping. We know that on Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and Boxing Day we’ll be home with our kids, and for us that’s the most exciting thing."
