Stacey Solomon was forced to confirm, boyfriend Joe Swash is the father of her baby on This Morning.
During a cheeky jibe on the show, host Eamonn Holmes teased the Loose Women panellist over her recent pregnancy announcement.
He said: “We're absolutely over the moon for her because there she is, she is with child, and as far as we understand the father is Joe Swash.”
The provocative question earned a chuckle from Solomon, who added: “He is definitely the father, let me just clarify.”
The hilarious exchange comes after Solomon revealed that she has no plans to take maternity leave after she gives birth to the tot.
In an interview with Chris Evans on his Virgin Radio breakfast show on Thursday, Solomon said: “I’m self-employed so if I don’t work, I don’t get paid.
“In this industry you can only earn while you’re earning and it might be a situation that I have work now but in six months time I might not. I will carry on working.”
The couple confirmed their pregnancy news last month in a slew of emotional Instagram posts.
Swash shared a series of photos of Solomon sleeping and joked that he had been worried she had become “bored” of him but was relieved to find out she “still loves me very much [and] has just been growing a baby.”
“I can’t begin to describe how happy we are to be able to share this wonderful news,” Swash wrote.
“We’ve been so blessed with 3 incredible children that we’ve had the privilege of raising and we are forever grateful to have the chance to become parents to another wonderful child.”
Solomon is already a mother to Leighton, six, and Zachary, 10, from a previous relationship, while Swash also has an 11-year-old son, Harry, with his ex.
