Stacey Solomon and Joe Swash have revealed they can’t stop crying after announcing they are expecting their first child together.
The couple, who recently moved in together, said they “couldn’t be happier right now” after sharing a picture of an ultrasound scan on Instagram.
Swash also posted pictures of Solomon sleeping and joked that he thought she had become “bored senseless” of him, before learning that “she still loves me and my company very much she’s just been growing a baby”.
“I can’t begin to describe how happy we are to be able to share this wonderful news,” he said. “We’ve been so blessed with 3 incredible children that we’ve had the privilege of raising and we are forever grateful to have the chance to become parents to another wonderful child.
“It’s all very overwhelming and emotional and we couldn’t be happier right now.”
Solomon posted a short message, telling fans she as too emotional to think of anything else to say.
“Every time I go to write anything I sob so... what he said,” she wrote.
The couple were inundated with congratulatory messages from fans, including Spice Girl Emma Bunton who wrote: “The most wonderful news, sending you all lots of love. Xxxx.”
Davina McCall posted: “Awwww Stacey! I'm so happy for you two!”
Bake Off champion Candice Brown also celebrated the news, writing: “Ohhhhhhh my goodness this is amazing!!! Congratulations lovely lady.”
Swash and Solomon recently moved in together after dating for two years.
They spent their first Christmas in their new home with Solomon’s sons Zachary, 10, and Leighton, six. Swash also has son Harry with his ex.
They recently sparked engagement rumours with a sweet Instagram snap on Valentine's Day.
