Stacey Solomon admits 'daunting' time ahead as she seeks fans' advice and confirms end of maternity leave

Stacey Solomon has admitted that she has a 'daunting' time ahead as she sought her fans' advice. The Loose Women star was showered with support after she shared how she was 'proud' of herself for feeling like she 'smashed' her day as she gets used to life as a mum-of-five.

The 33-year-old's brood with her husband Joe Swash grew last month as they welcomed their third child together into the world. The couple, who wed in a ceremony in the garden of their home last July, announced that they were expecting in December - when Stacey was already eight months into her pregnancy.

The happy pair then announced to fans that their adorable new arrival, a baby girl who they have named Belle, had "literally flew" into the world on February 7 just before Valentine's Day.

Stacey has been giving updates on her new life as she dotes on Belle, one-year-old Rose and Rex, three, with Joe as well as her older sons Leighton and Zachary from her previous relationships. Joe is also a proud dad to his teenage son, Harry, who he shares with ex-fiancee Emma Sophocleous.

On Monday (March 13), the Sort Your Life Out host shared a string of sweet snaps with her three youngest children and the family's adorable pet pooches - Teddy and Peanut. A couple of images showed the group at home while another showed Stacey beaming for the camera as she clutched a cup of tea.

"Proud," the former X Factor finalist started the caption of her post to her 5.6m followers alongside a white hear. "Feeling like I smashed it today. Don’t mind if I sound big headed but I felt like a superhuman today. For some reason lately I’ve found it easy to tell myself that I’m failing or doing a rubbish job & I never tell myself how well im doing."

She went on to say: "Three 3 & under & two teenagers is wonderful but it’s not easy. Joe did a night feed for me last night & then went to work So we did the school runs and then afterwards I managed to make it for the first time EVER to Rhyme time at the library with Rex, Rose & Belle.

"Spent some time with other mum’s & felt so nice to see Rex & Belle enjoying being out of the house. Then we stayed out as long as we could, came home, played play dough shops did tuna pasta dinner & this evening was swimming lesson for Rexy. Now we are home & I’m ready to collapse on the sofa & start the cluster feeds."

Stacey concluded her candid post, which included images of her breastfeeding Belle while surrounded by her other children and dogs: "Sorry for the essay. but basically Just a little reminder that you’re doing amazing, even when you feel like you’re not. You’re so incredible don’t forget to tell yourself that sometimes."

She also appeared on her Instagram Story where she filmed a video of herself chilling with baby Belle - who was sporting a personalised dusty pink cardigan - as she discussed planning a holiday before her maternity leave comes to an end. "I'm just laying her watching Friends - shock horror - and trying to find somewhere to take them [the kids].

"I'd love to take them [away] before I go back from maternity, which isn't that long, and the Easter holidays are really early this year so I'm just trying to find somewhere that is warm and good for babies and teenagers," she added with a laugh. "So if any of you know any good places or where might be a nice place to go, let me know because I'm aimlessly searching."

She then typed alongside the clip: "Aimlessly searching for somewhere to take the kids [over the] Easter holidays before I go back filming away." And she must have been flooded with responses as she returned to her Instagram Story with a black and white snap of Rose sleeping on her chest while Rose also napped alongside them.

As she thanked fans for the recommendations, she added: "Lots of you asking if it is daunting, the thought of taking them all away. Yes, definitely. But I feel like now's the best time before Belle is running around and Joe and me are running after the three little ones and they out number us."
