'Stacey Dooley Sleeps Over to feature Strelley's 'Lion King' Reece Oliver

Strelley's very own Lion King, Reece Oliver, is to be featured on TV screens again for another documentary - this time with investigative journalist, Stacey Dooley.

Mr Oliver, who cares for two African lions and a Canadian puma at his Nottinghamshire family farm will be one of a number of homes visited in the new series of 'Stacey Dooley Sleeps Over'.

The award-winning documentary maker spends 72 hours as a house guest with fascinating families and individuals to reveal unique relationships and lives in the UK.

This series, which will air on W, features a wide variety of households, each with their own routines and rituals that make them so unique.

Mr Oliver, 30 recently featured in a documentary show with Ross Kemp, where he introduced viewers to his pet lion Rocky and lioness Rora, along with puma Rogue.

He has now welcomed more cameras access behind the scenes of his home that he shares with incredible, exotic species.

As well as Mr Oliver the series includes a Tradwife who has put her career ambitions to one side and opted for a more submissive role in her marriage, a strictly Orthodox Jewish couple who have nine children and adhere scrupulously to the ancient rules set out by their religion, and an eco-warrior family who live on a remote Hebridean island and regularly participate in XR protests.

The first series of 'Stacey Dooley Sleeps Over' was nominated for a Broadcast Digital Award and became one of W’s most watched shows of the year when it aired in 2019.

It returns to television screens on Monday, May 3 at 10pm.
