Stacey Dooley's new odd BBC This Is My House left viewers utterly baffled as four contestants tried to convince a celebrity panel that the house was theirs in order to win £1,000 in a 'Through The Keyhole' type twist.
Four people claiming that they were called 'Fern', including a man saying his name was 'Fernando', appeared in a house in Ashford.
Only one was genuinely called Fern who owned the house, had a partner called Mark and a dog.
The battle then commenced as "brutal" comments flew, with each of the contestants taking aim at one another.
Eventually, the panel picked Fern 4 as the real one - but he turned out to be Michael and the real Fern was actually number 2.
And viewers were very confused, with one tweeting: "Wait they are only competing for A THOUSAND POUNDS? For all of this eternal humiliation? This makes it even better. #thisismyhouse."
While another joked: "BBC1 does ITV2 #ThisIsMyHouse."
A third wrote: "This is brutal #thisismyhouse."

One wrote: "This is me watching #thisismyhouse I can't work out if it's pure genius or utter, utter c**p."
Another tweeted: "What fresh hell is this...who decided this was a good idea for a programme! #thisismyhouse."
Radio DJ Nick Grimshaw had also tuned in and commented: "Ok #thisismyhouse is absolutely insane and I’m absolutely involved @BBCOne."
A fan simply asked: "WHAT THE F*** AM I WATCHING??? #thisismyhouse."
Another questioned: "Can I mention this is Prime time BBCONE content Wtf is going on #thisismyhouse."
