Stacey Dooley and Kevin Clifton like to keep their romance to themselves.
The BBC documentary maker, 34, and former Strictly Come Dancing professional, 38, met on the dancing series and got together in early 2019 after Stacey ended her romance with ex-boyfriend Sam Tucknott, who she'd been dating for five years.
And proving that Stacey is proud of Kevin - who left the hit BBC show in March 2020 following seven years on the professional cast - she took to her Instagram page on Friday morning to share her pride as he prepares to take to the stage tonight in the West End show Singin' in the Rain.
Alongside a rare selfie of them both looking cost, Stacey wrote: "Good luck tonight sweetheart. Opening night! SO proud. You were made for this role. Make ‘em laugh King Kev."
Fans were pleased to get a glimpse at the smitten couple and took to the comments to share sweet words.
One penned: "Gorgeous couple."
Others added: "Awww love this! I can’t wait to see the show" and "Just two angel huns smash it kev!!!!"
Kevin will make his debut as Cosmo Brown in the stage hit tonight at the Sadler's Wells theatre in London and is set to stay in the role until September 5.
He is then expected to take part in the national tour taking place in 2022.
Last night, Kevin told his fans on Twitter of his excitement to be treading the boards again.
The dancer wrote: "A year of missing performing. Months of relentless hard work. One more sleep. #SinginInTheRain @intherainsocial @Sadlers_Wells."
Stacey recently ruled out marrying Kevin, who has been married three times already.
Speaking on her show Stacey Dooley Sleeps Over, she explained: "Kev and I have been together for two years.
"I don't think I want to get married. I think I'd be more interested in starting a family than getting married.
"I can't think of anything worse than being a Tradwife. I would be useless, completely and utterly useless."
And Stacey joked: "He'd divorce me in a heartbeat."
Despite her comments, Stacey was recently spotted wearing two rings on her wedding finger, sparking speculation that she had married Kevin.
