St Stephen's Day betting tips: Four bets across horse racing and football

It's one of the biggest days of sport annually and this year's St Stephen's Day looks set to be another cracker.

There's 11 horse racing meeting taking place between Ireland and the UK, while we have some Premier League action, but a number of games have been postponed due to Covid-19 cases.

Munster v Leinster has also been called off, but Ulster v Connacht goes ahead.

Here's our four best bets for Sunday:

Ahoy Senor 1.55pm Kempton 5/4

Lucinda Russell's six-year-old looked like a monster when bolting up by 31 lengths on Ladbrokes Trophy Day at Newbury last month.

The second that day, Mr Incredible, was well fancied for Henry de Bromhead and Rachael Blackmore, but was blown away by Ahoy Senor.

Kauto Star Novices' Chase looks a tougher contest, but Ahoy Senor defeated Bravemansgame over hurdles last season and he is fancied to emerge victorious from one of the best races on St Stephen's Day.

Gabynako 2.40pm Limerick 5/2

Gavin Cromwell sends a strong team to Limerick on Sunday, which is headed by this lad.

Gabynako was second behind Beacon Edge in the Drinmore at Navan when last seen and he could go one better.

It's a quality contest with stablemate Vanillier and Gordon Elliott's Farouk D'alene among the opposition.

Tottenham to beat Crystal Palace 3pm 7/10

Spurs appear to have turned a corner under Antonio Conte in recent weeks.

They were unlucky not to beat Liverpool last weekend before defeating West Ham 2-1 during the week to book their place in the semi-finals of the Carabao Cup.

7/10 looks a fair price for them to take all three points against Crystal Palace this weekend.

Chantry House 3.05pm Kempton 5/1

Nicky Henderson is aiming to win the King George for a fourth time after victories with Long Run (2010 and 2012) and Might Bite in 2017.

Chantry House was awesome when upped to three miles for the first time at Aintree back in April, beating Shan Blue by 32 lengths, with subsequent Ladbrokes Trophy runner-up Fiddlerontheroof a further 26 lengths back in third.

He returned to action when beating one rival, The Big Breakaway, as easy as he wanted last month and could have a huge season ahead of him now in open company.
