St Peter’s guard Matthew Lee found an awesome way to get back on his feet and NCAA fans loved it

Thus far, Saint Peter’s is the darling of the men’s NCAA tournament. After upsetting Kentucky and Murray State, the beloved Peacocks have become one of this March’s main draws. We can’t get enough of their beautiful feathers. Oh, right, and their Cinderella basketball.

And on Friday night they made history by becoming the first No. 15 seed to make it to the Elite Eight with their stunning win over Purdue that had everyone in awe.

During their Sweet 16  win over the No. 3 Boilermakers (who were 12-point favorites coming in), one of the Peacocks players had a different surprise for everyone. After making a drive to the basket early in the second half, Matthew Lee fell to the ground. Rather than get up in a normal-athletically-challenged-person way, he saw fit to bounce up off the court.

And I mean really bounce.

I want to note that it took me 10 minutes to get out of bed this morning. So while I’m amazed by Lee’s nimbleness, I’m also very jealous.

College hoops fans similar could not get enough of this young man getting back on his feet in this mind-boggling way.
