St Patrick’s Day 2022 takes place this Thursday, March 17, and there are plenty of events happening in Liverpool to celebrate the occasion.
Whether you want to spend the day enjoying a few pints of Guinness or wish to dance the night away, there are a variety of celebrations happening in the city centre for you to get involved in. This includes pubs, sports bars, clubs and more, with some events lasting all weekend.
Following the subdued celebrations the last couple of years due to the pandemic, St Patrick’s Day 2022 is bound to be one to remember. So, put on some green clothing, a leprechaun hat and a pair of shamrock glasses, and head into Liverpool to enjoy the events listed below.

PINS Social Club
The three-floor venue on Duke Street is hosting three days of St Patrick’s Day celebrations, packed full of live music, sport and entertainment. PINS Social Club ’s event will kick-off with a daytime party on The Roof (which is heated and covered) on Thursday, with live bands playing throughout the day and a DJ at night.
The weekend’s celebrations will begin with discounted drinks during Happy Hour on Friday from 5pm to 7pm, followed by “Get Lucky”, a special St Patrick’s event. It’ll feature live bands and vocalists, plus resident DJs.
On Saturday, PINS Social Club is hosting brunch in preparation for a day of rugby, where Ireland will take on Scotland for the final day of the 2022 Six Nations Championships. That night there will be the PINS Parade from 7.30pm with DJs, live music, dancers and performers, who will take to the central Runway in a “breathtaking spectacle show”.

Salt Dog Slims Liverpool
Salt Dog Slims is throwing a huge St Patrick’s Day party with plenty of Guinness and whiskey, plus Irish tunes to get you dancing the night away. There will also “endless amounts” of green steins and a hot dog eating competition with an Irish twist…
Customers can also get their hands on free merch, including the “famous” St Paddy’s Day Salt Dog T-shirt which returns this year. There will be live music at the venue from 5pm.

The Irish bar on Seel Street is hosting a Paddy’s Weekender of live music, featuring Joe O’Donnell, Bobby Taylor and Naomi Campbell. Completing the line up of musical performers at Dirty O'Sheas is Tease, Cathy Carter and Owen Brown.

The Celtic Corner
Pop into The Celtic Corner this St Patrick’s Day from 11am for live music, a DJ and, of course, plenty of Guinness. Performing at the event is Joe O’Donnell, White Lightning, James Riley, Dean Wainwright and Cathy Carter.

Boston Pool Loft
Join Boston Pool Loft this St Paddy’s Day and enjoy plenty of Irish favourites, including Irish whiskey, Jameson. The venue will have a special drinks deal on the beverage for St Patrick’s Day only - two Double Jameson and a mixer for just £6.
