Families across the city have been invited to celebrate St Patrick's Day this year in West Belfast .
A free community fun day has been organised by the Upper Springfield Development Trust who announced the return of their annual family friendly party.
The free event which is now in its third year is taking place at the Better NI Whiterock Leisure Centre at 12-2 and will offer a range of activities including face painting, balloon modelling, arts and crafts as well as traditional Irish music and food.
Young hurls and camogs will also have opportunity to win prizes in a fun own poc fada competition, in partnership with O'Neills.
Sinn Féin Councillor and Upper Springfield Integrated Partnership coordinator Michael Donnelly said: “We are hugely excited to host the St Patrick’s Funday for all of our local residents.
“It’s a great afternoon that gives everyone the opportunity to come down and have some craic on one of the biggest holidays of the year”.
