St Patrick's Athletic have signed striker Martin Rennie from Montrose.
Scorer of 14 goals for the Scottish side last season and two in this campaign, the 25-year-old is eager to hit the ground running with the Saints.
Rennie said: “The number one aim for me is to score goals. I didn’t come here to struggle, I want to play at a high standard and show what I’ve got.”
Saints boss Stephen O’Donnell believes the best is yet to come from his new striker who joined Montrose from non-league side Lochgelly.
Rennie was on St Pat's radar having played alongside new Saints assistant manager Patrick Cregg at Montrose last season.
O’Donnell said: “He has a good goalscoring record in Scotland and we feel that he is joining us at a good age as his best years are ahead of him.
“He’s a willing worker and gives everything for the jersey - that’s the type of player that we want at St Pat’s.”
Rennie made 17 appearances for Montrose this season and last played for them on January 4.
