Declan Devine hopes Derry City can continue their capital form with a second Dublin win in a week.
Greg Sloggett and Darren Cole gave the Candystripes a 2-0 win over UCD on Friday ahead of tonight's clash with St Patrick's Athletic.
“It was a very good performance because UCD are a very good side,” Devine told the Irish Mirror.
“They cause teams problems because of the expansive way they play. It was a good three points.
“That’s the first three points we’ve won in Dublin this year. If we want to do anything this season we have to continue to win in Dublin.
“We go to a very difficult venue tonight and hopefully we can get something from that.
“It’s a great game to have. They’re a really talented side who can cause a lot of teams problems.
“We’re all in it for the same reason, to play high profile matches.
“We’ve got to make sure our preparation is right. That we are mentally right going back down to Dublin.
“I can’t wait for the game. It can’t come quickly enough.”
