St Patrick's Athletic complete double swoop for Jordan Gibson and David Titov

St Patrick's Athletic have tonight completed the double signing of Jordan Gibson and David Titov.

The moves, which were flagged by Mirror Sport yesterday, come ahead of Friday’s 5.00pm League of Ireland transfer deadline.

Winger Gibson, 22, was most recently with Bradford City but had a loan spell at Stevenage and was with Rangers as a youth.

And Titov, 20, is a defender who has played underage for Latvia up to and including Under-21 level and arrives from Brentford.

The duo follow Georgie Kelly to the Saints after the striker’s loan move from champions Dundalk on Monday night.

The Lilywhites are poised to confirm David McMillan’s return to the club after his stint in Scotland.

St Pat’s boss Stephen O’Donnell said: “I’m delighted to get both Jordan and David signed.

“They’re both going to be quality additions to the squad.  I look forward to working with them over the next few months.

“They’ve come here to play first team football, and hopefully they can show the league and St Pat’s fans what they can do.”

Meanwhile, First Division clubs have been told they cannot charge for matches they plan to stream.

The league’s new streaming service, WatchLOI, is only showing Premier Division games so some First Division sides explored their own streaming possibilities.
