Saints boss Harry Kenny is looking for a big improvement from his side in the second half of the season - and in particular in terms of creating goal chances.
While happy with the work of his strikers, the St Pat's supremo is concerned that the ammunition for them is not being properly provided by their team-mates.
The Inchicore outfit have only scored 18 goals so far - less than half the number scored by leaders Dundalk - and only tonight's opponents UCD, with 13, have scored less.
"Reflecting on the first half of the season, we need to be scoring more goals," said Kenny. "We're not too bad defensively and we need to be passing the ball better.
"So I'm looking for a big improvement going into this half, we've a huge amount to look forward to with Europe around the corner and three league games before that, so we want to be going into Europe in good fettle.
"We've good goalscorers at the club so it's just about creating chances and the boys will take them."
The Students have lost two of their most influential players in Gary O'Neill and Neil Farrugia to Shamrock Rovers this week but Kenny is expecting a typical College performance.
"Hopefully there will be a good freshness with the players for this game against UCD," he said.
"We went into the break with that win over Harps, and while we didn't play great I'm hoping that we will pick up from where we left off and ther's a nice brightness about the lads.
"UCD like to play out from the back and play it through the midfield, and I'm sure Collie O'Neill will stick to his guns on that front.
"They have changed their system a little bit recently, but they still have the same philosophy of playing football from the back".
