St Mirren vs Hamilton OFF after covid curse leaves Saints with just 11 fit players

St Mirren have had a second consecutive game postponed after another coronavirus outbreak in Paisley.

The Buddies were hoping to face Hamilton tomorrow after their game against Motherwell last Saturday was also called off.

But now the Saints will be without a weekend fixture for two weeks running after the virus decimated squad numbers yet again.

It's now been confirmed that the match at St Mirren Park tomorrow afternoon has had to be postponed.

The SPFL are already investigating the circumstances that led to St Mirren having to postpone their clash with the Steelmen last week after another outbreak of covid saw three players test positive.

It's likely the Buddies will face another investigation after another round of positive tests this week saw the Hamilton game called off.

More to follow.
