St Mirren v Hibs Premiership clash rescheduled after Hibees accept Buddies' request

Hibs have confirmed their game against St Mirren next month has been brought forward.

Jack Ross was set to return to his former club on Wednesday 3 February for the Scottish Premiership clash.

But Hibs have agreed to St Mirren’s request to bring the game forward to Tuesday 2 February.

And the match will now kick-off at 6.00pm rather than 7.30pm as originally scheduled.

The Hibees won 3-0 in Paisley on their last visit back in September thanks to goals from Kevin Nisbet, Joe Newell and Martin Boyle.

They were victorious in the corresponding fixture at Easter Road, with Nisbet again opening the scoring in what was to prove the only goal of the game.

Brandon Morrison and Christian Doidge were sent off late on as both sides finished the game with ten men.
