St Mirren v Hearts: Who should start for the Jambos in Paisley?

It's premature to say Hearts have turned a corner after two good results but they appear to have at least regained some belief.

After not winning in the league at all for their opening five games, they came from behind to win away to rivals Hibs before doing similar against Aberdeen to reach the semi-finals of the Betfred Cup.

Craig Levein made just one change in terms of his starting line up between those tow games, but adapted the system within both games to good effect.

Glenn Whelan's last two performances have made him a first pick, while Uche Ikpeazu seems to have found his stride.

Two high intensity games and extra-time means Levein may have to rotate somewhat, especially given Hearts' recent injury record.

Aidy White could at least return to the squad if he wants the option of resting Aaron Hickey, while Steven MacLean tends to flit in and out given his advancing years.

Loic Damour has been subbed off in his last two matches, so Andy Irving could get the chance to impress again in midfield.

The weekend will come too early for John Souttar, Steven Naismith and Peter Haring to play any part.
