Stephen Robinson has aimed a thinly-veiled dig towards Celtic hero Chris Sutton after he insisted he would not pay to watch St Mirren.
Last weekend, when analysing St Mirren's 2-1 away victory over Falkirk on Sky Sports, Sutton said the Buddies were not good to watch, and consistently just 'lump' the ball.
Robinson admits he's no problem with folk having an opinion on his team's style of play.
However, he didn't let the situation go completely without a sly dig back at Sutton.
When speaking to the press today, the Buddies boss insists some people 'are paid to try and stay relevant'.
"I didn't see them (the comments)," the 50-year-old claimed when speaking to preview St Mirren's Premier Sports Cup quarter-final clash against Kilmarnock. "People always like to tell you good news so I got told some of it.
"Everyone's got an opinion and everyone's entitled to one.

"Everyone's entitled to their opinion. That's it. Everyone's entitled to their opinion, that's what people are paid for to try and stay relevant.
"It doesn't bother too much to be honest."
