St Johnstone vs Rangers clash moved as Sky Sports make time request to SPFL

Rangers trip to face St Johnstone in the Premiership in February has been moved to a 1.30pm kick-off.

The game had been scheduled for a midday kick-off live on Sky Sports, but has been moved back by an hour and a half at the request of the broadcaster.

A statement from Saints said: "At the request of Sky Sports, our live fixture against Rangers FC on Sunday 23rd February will now kick-off at 1:30PM.

"The match had previously been scheduled for a 12 noon kick-off at McDiarmid Park."

The match will be the first time that St Johnstone's new ticket stance will be in place with Rangers supporters to get three stands at McDiarmid Park.

They decided last week to offer more tickets to Rangers and Celtic fans in a bid to increase attendances for the games.

The sides have met just once this season and it finished in a 4-0 victory for the Ibrox side in Perth back in September.

The other game between the sides was due to take place at Ibrox in November but was moved due to Rangers' involvement in the Betfred Cup semi-final.

No date has been rearranged yet.
