St Johnstone v Rangers: TV channel, live stream, kick off time, referee and score prediction for Premiership clash

Following an Old Firm victory and with key men back in the side, Rangers will head to McDiarmid Park full of confidence on Saturday.

The end of the international break couldn't come quick enough for the Gers as they look to build on a 1-0 win over rivals Celtic at Ibrox.

They travel north to Perth to face St Johnstone boosted by the return of key man and - crucially - manager Steven Gerrard after a Covid-19 outbreak in the Light Blues' camp saw him miss the last two games.

Captain James Tavernier and No 1 Allan McGregor are also in contention for the trip to take on last season's cup double winners.

Callum Davidson's men will begin life post-captain Jason Kerr and midfield starlet Ali McCann.

Both were sold on transfer deadline day, Kerr heading to Wigan and McCann Preston, for a combined fee of less than £2m - much to the outrage of the Saints faithful.

They'll certainly be missed as the champions come to town with St Johnstone without a win in their opening four Premiership games in a season that's so far seen them contend with injuries and juggling European football.

They have, however, proven in the past they can upset the Gers as they did on their way to Scottish Cup success last term.

Where and when is the game taking place?

The game will take place at McDiarmid Park on Saturday, September 11.

Kick off is at 12.30pm.

Is it on TV?

Yes. The game will be shown live on Sky Sports.

It's due to be shown on Sky Sports Football, with coverage beginning half an hour before kick-off.

Will there be a live stream?

Yes, you can watch the game on Sky Go if you have a subscription. Otherwise, can purchase a Now TV pass to get access.

A 24-hour pass costs £9.99 and you can stream the match to your device.

Who is the referee?

Willie Collum is the man in the middle for this one.

Dougie Potter and Alastair Mather are his assistants with Alan Newlands the fourth official.

Prediction

St Johnstone are a tough nut to crack but haven't started the season well and will miss Kerr and McCann.

It'll be tight but you'd expect Rangers to come out on top in this one.

Prediction: St Johnstone 0 Rangers 2.
