St Johnstone v Hibernian: How to watch Lanarkshire stars in Scottish Cup final

St Johnstone and Hibernian will battle it in the Scottish Cup final at Hampden on Saturday and three Lanarkshire stars are likely to feature.

Shaun Rooney, from Bellshill, and Craig Bryson, from East Kilbride, are expected to start for the Perth side while Kevin Nisbet, from East Kilbride, will lead the line for Hibernian.

Nisbet will be hoping to cap off a brilliant week by winning the first trophy of his career after being called up to the Scotland squad for Euro 2020 yesterday.

St Johnstone could claim a remarkable cup double after they won the League Cup earlier in the season.

If Callum Davidson's side are victorious then they'd be the first club outside the Old Firm to win both domestic cups in a season since Aberdeen in 1990.

St Johnstone reached the final with a 2-1 win over St Mirren after famously beating Rangers on penalties in the semi-final.

Hibernian progressed to the final with a comfortable 2-0 over Dundee United in the semi-final after knocking out Motherwell in the quarter-final on penalties.

The game will be televised live on BBC One Scotland with their coverage starting at 1pm.

The final will also be on Premier Sports and their coverage begins at 9:30am. You can sign up on their website and a subscription costs £9.99 per month.

Kick-off at Hampden on Saturday is at 2pm.
