St Johnstone troll Celtic with 'we've got your cup' team bus drive-by as Perth side end Parkhead trophy dominance

St Johnstone's cup heroes wrote another chapter in their club history on Sunday by lifting the Betfred Cup.

Callum Davidson added just the second piece of major silverware to the Perth Saints list of accolades with a 1-0 win over Livingston at Hampden.

The victory also brought to an end Celtic's dominance of the competition, having lifted the League Cup four years in a row as part of their quadruple treble success.

And on the road back to McDiarmid Park the club couldn't resist a cheeky dig at the Hoops.

A clip has emerged on the @sjfcnews Twitter of one of the St Johnstone team buses driving past Celtic Park on the way home from the national stadium.

As the bus passes the Celtic Way, voices in the background can be heard saying "What do you think of that then, eh?"

The camera then pans round to the cup being lifted and someone saying "we've got your cup" with their face out of shot.

The Hoops were knocked out of the competition by Ross County in Glasgow's east end last November.

And St Johnstone are the first side outside of Celtic to win a trophy since Hibs lifted the Scottish Cup in 2016.

Rangers will follow as they stand seven points from sealing the Premiership title.
