St Johnstone are set to welcome winger Glenn Middleton on loan from Rangers for the remainder of the season.
Manager Callum Davidson, who masterminded a Betfred Cup semi-final win at the weekend, has been keen to add to his squad.
Middleton has been capped at Scotland under-21 level and was in the same national set-up as current Perth captain Jason Kerr.
He has been loaned out twice since Steven Gerrard’s arrival at the Ibrox club, spending time at both Hibernian and Bradford City.
