St Johnstone's Liam Gordon has signed a contract extension with his hometown team.
The Perth defender's new deal keeps him at McDiarmid Park until summer 2022.
Gordon always dreamed of playing for Saints and has stepped up to captain the side on a couple of occasions this term.
He was thrilled to extend his stay at the club and insisted he will continue to represent them with determination and passion.
Gordon said: “I’m delighted to sign a contact extension and will now continue to focus on getting us up the league table.
“St Johnstone is a club that everyone knows is very close to me and my family’s heart. I’ll continue to give my all for the badge.”
Saints travel to Tannadice on Saturday for a Tayside derby fixture with Dundee United.
