St Johnstone goalkeeper Zander Clark has been called up to the Scotland squad.
The Perth number one has been in impressive form across the past year and played a key role in last season’s cup double.
He has continued to look sharp this term, producing fantastic displays against both Galatasaray and LASK in European competition.
Clark, the first Saints player to earn national selection since Murray Davidson back in 2012, now has World Cup qualifiers to look forward to next month.
Steve Clarke’s Scots travel to take on Denmark on Wednesday, September 1 before hosting Moldova at Hampden on the Saturday. An away trip to Austria on Tuesday, September 7 then follows.
Craig Gordon of Hearts and Motherwell's Liam Kelly are the other goalkeepers in the squad.
