Rattled LASK boss Dominik Thalhammer claims it was “disgusting” to play against St Johnstone.
The Austrians are up against it after the 1-1 draw in Klagenfurt in which Thalhammer admits his side were knocked off their stride by super Saints in the Europa Conference League qualifier.
Chris Kane fired the Perth men ahead in the first half before Mamoudou Karamoko’s penalty levelled just before the hour mark to leave the play-off in the balance ahead of the second leg in Scotland on Thursday.
Thalhammer had claimed Callum Davidson's Saints were a “long ball team in Europe” ahead of the tie.
And speaking afterwards he said: ”It was disgusting to play against them.
“It wasn't a good first half. We lost confidence in our game.
"We knew what to expect: long balls over the defence and that’s why we wanted fast people in the back row."
