St John the Baptist Primary celebrate their career options with World of Work week

St John the Baptist Primary welcomed a great many representatives of career options for their World of Work week.

The whole school were treated to a visit from the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service as well as Police Scotland.

And the primary six and seven pupils attended a career fair on the Thursday afternoon which included talks from Border Force, the Veterinary Clinic, Celtic Charitable Foundation and South Lanarkshire Leisure and Culture Active Sports. Finsbury Food arrived and detailed career options as well as sharing their products with the children.

Arnold Clark brought their new electric super car to show how the future may look and encourage the children in their climate change debates.

The youngsters were delighted to have had such a fabulous opportunity to start planning their future careers.
