The St John’s Shopping Centre is set to fully reopen next week.
A number of external outlets, including Primark, Waterstones, Café Central (for takeaway), Clydesdale Bank and TSB Bank, have had their external entrances open since June 29.
And essential stores Poundland and Timpson’s were the only internal shops that could be accessed via the King Edward Street entrance.
But now all remaining shops will reopen on Monday, July 13 from 9am.
A statement on the St John’s social media page read: “We are pleased to announce that St John’s Shopping Centre will reopen on Monday, July 13.

“In line with the most recent Scottish Government guidelines, all non-essential retailers within a covered mall can open for business from Monday, July 13 and as such we will reopen the centre to the public at 9am on this date.
“Our number one priority is to ensure the safety of our customers, staff and retailers at all times, so we’re putting in place a range of new measures to ensure that St John’s Shopping Centre is a safe environment for all.
“We will release more information on these new safety measures early next week.”
A statement on the shopping centre website added: “We wish to remind customers of social distancing guidance at this time and ask you to respect the two metre distance between other people whilst visiting the centre.
“We will have a small number of our customer service team on hand to ensure the shopping centre remains a clean and safe place to visit.
“The public toilets will also be closed off until further notice, we apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.
“Thank you for your cooperation and continued support throughout this challenging period, we look forward to seeing you all again soon.”
